About Süleyman Demirel University Law Faculty Journal

Süleyman Demirel University Law Faculty Journal/Süleyman Demirel Law Review (SDÜHFD/SDLR) is a NATIONAL PEER-REVIEWED journal published in 2011 to contribute to teaching and practice, and indexed in the TÜBİTAK – ULAKBİM TR Law Index since 2017. The journal is published twice a year in June and December in an open-access e-journal format. However, special issues decided to be published in print by the Editorial Board may be published in print. The journal features academic works such as articles, case studies, translations, and book reviews prepared by academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of law and related areas.

In addition, in order to ensure that the journal is indexed in international social science journals in the field of law, to contribute to legal education on a global scale, and to increase the journal's impact and visibility, academic works in English or German are also accepted for publication in addition to Turkish.

Works submitted for publication must be sent via the DergiPark system in “.doc” or “.docx” file format. When entering information about the article via the DergiPark system, the author(s)' contact information (titles, institutions, institutional email addresses, ORCID numbers) must be provided in full. Works not submitted via the DergiPark system will not be considered.

Articles that do not comply with the journal's writing rules, ethical principles, and publication policy will not be published. The iThenticate program is used to determine the similarity rate of works submitted for publication in the journal, and ethical violations are checked. If the similarity rate exceeds 20% excluding references and citations, and an ethical violation is detected, the work is rejected directly without being sent to the reviewers. To determine which works will be published, at least two reviewers from within or outside the country evaluate the works, and a double-blind peer review process is followed during this process. Authors are responsible for making the corrections indicated by the reviewers. No fees are charged to authors for the submission or publication of their works.
